"I had neither kith nor kin in England, and was therefore as free as air — or as free as an income of eleven shillings and sixpence a day will permit a man to be. Under such circumstances, I naturally gravitated to London, that great cesspool into which all the loungers and idlers of the Empire are irresistibly drained."~ Arthur Conan Doyle, A Study in Scarlet, 1887.

"The English language is like London: proudly barbaric yet deeply civilised, too common yet royal, vulgar yet processional, sacred yet profane." ~ Stephen Fry.

¿QUÉ PIENSAN LOS ALUMNOS QUE PARTICIPARON EN EL VIAJE?

London's a completely fascinating, marvellous and cosmopolitan city, where you can visit monuments, interesting museums and historical buildings.

As well it's a birthplace of events. For example; Joanne Rowling, the world famous author who wrote her first "Harry Potter" novel in London's cafes, such us Nicolson.

There are a lot of places to sightseeing, but I strongly recommend going to the Parliament, the cradle of lawmakers.

In conclusion, visiting this city will be an unforgettable and rewording memory. It should be at the top of your bucket list. You will really enjoy it.

London

I already knew that London was an open, global, multicultural, business city, which values and defends its democratic and cultural traditions, that takes care of its urban landscape in parks, gardens, buildings and streets... a city with endless cultural activities, and a big shopping city too.

But on this trip I have discovered that London has been, it is and it will always be a city in the vanguard!

It looked such a modern, vibrant, exciting and attractive city at Christmas that I'll never forget it.
